How the online mechanic helps you pay a fair price
The mechanic does not simply say "this is faulty". It first understands when the problem occurs, how old the car is, whether tyres or the battery were changed recently, which roads you drive on and what the weather is like. It then gives the likely cause, the cheapest checks to confirm it, the work needed and a parts + labour range for your city, and tells you which work you should not agree to.

How does the online mechanic work?
You describe the problem and the AI mechanic asks a few relevant questions (car age, kilometres run, city, recent work, usual roads and weather). It then explains the likely causes, what to do next and a cost range.
Is the estimate exact?
No. A chat can only give an approximate assessment; the final cost is confirmed after a physical inspection. Download the estimate and compare quotes from at least two garages.
When should I stop driving the car?
If you have brake or steering problems, overheating, smoke, a burning or fuel smell, or a serious warning light, do not drive the car; arrange a tow. In such cases the mechanic marks the problem as "Do not drive".
Why does the cost change by city?
Labour and branded parts cost more in metro cities than in smaller towns, and genuine parts cost more than good aftermarket parts. The estimate gives a range for both.
